60 years

2006 marks UCP Colorado’s 60th Anniversary of providing support and services to Colorado individuals and families. The origins of UCP Colorado began with the commitment and dedication of our nine Founding Mothers, who sought a better life for their children with disabilities. It is through their vision and foresight that UCP Colorado continues to be a leading force in providing innovative services that encourage inclusive opportunities for Coloradoans of all abilities.

Today, UCP Colorado provides support services to a broad cross-section of Colorado individuals and families. Their need for services stems from a variety of conditions, including disability, poverty, unemployment, mental health issues, a lack of resources and a need for quality education.

In an effort to meet these needs, UCP Colorado is embarking on a new journey that will not only enhance the services we currently provide, but also enable us to broaden the scope and capacity of our services for years to come. In 2007, CP new cp building

of Colorado will move into its new home, a 54,000 square foot facility that will house our administrative offices, our early education and employment programs and our new Kindergarten through sixth grade Charter School.
